Shengou Water Resources Ecological Park is located in Yuanshan, which is blessed with abundant springs and clear, fresh water, so it became the source of what was once Yilan Waterworks (宜蘭水道), which opened for use in 1932. After management was taken over by the Nationalist Government, it was expanded and converted into a water purification plant.

Original installations used by Yilan Waterworks (宜蘭水道), such as the water collecting basin and sand sedimentation pool, have been preserved to give park visitors a glimpse into the park’s past. In addition, this is a wetland with all kinds of interesting flora and fauna. Come check it out.
